Preston IngallsPresident/CEOMr. Ingalls is the President/CEO for TBR Strategies LLC, a Raleigh-based maintenance and reliability consulting firm. With over thirty-seven years experience as a maintenance and reliability consultant he has analyzed, designed and implemented numerous organizational improvement projects and change efforts for companies such as Shell, Unilever, Lockheed Martin, Mobil Chemical, Skanska, Bayer, Monsanto, Roche, Pillsbury, Hess, Occidental Petroleum and Texas Instruments. In the last ten years he has worked exclusively with construction companies and oil and gas producers.In 2003 and 2004, he led improvement (Total Process Reliability) efforts across seven countries for Royal Dutch Shell and recently conducted an operational efficiency study for Shell in Nigeria. During his career, he held the positions of millwright, maintenance engineer, production superintendent, manufacturing engineer, engineering manager, quality control manager, director of training, internal change agent and human resources manager. Early in his career he led several maintenance departments by serving as maintenance engineer, maintenance supervisor, and maintenance manager. In addition to implementing Total Process Reliability (TPR) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and in over 270 operations across 26 countries, he has conducted over 160 public seminars and 420 in-house seminars as well as numerous training courses for senior executives, managers, supervisors, and hourly personnel in locations ranging from Europe to Asia to the Middle East. He has published over forty plus articles and is a contributing editor to six trade publications. Mr. Ingalls is a certified facilitator/instructor for Balanced Scorecard Strategic Planning for strategic planning and has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Virginia and North Carolina State University. He has presented at over twenty conferences, and has authored numerous training manuals in the field of maintenance and reliability. Mr. Ingalls has led the improvement efforts at several organizations that would and have gone on to win the North American Maintenance Excellence (NAME) Award in 2002 and 2004, and one that won the construction industries Fleet Masters Award for fleet maintenance excellence in 2004 and 2009. Mr. Ingalls holds an AAS degree in Manufacturing Engineering, a BS degree in Engineering Operations, and a MS degree in Organizational Development. He is a member of the Association for Equipment Management Professionals, Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals, the International Association for Drilling Contractors and the Association of Energy Service Companies.
Chris IngallsOperations SupervisorMr. Ingalls is a dedicated maintenance and reliability practitioner with over 10 years of experience in operations and maintenance improvement. His dedication and driven attitude is forged by the relationships that have been developed over the years with his staff and clients alike. Over the last ten years, Chris has led successful improvement efforts working with highway heavy construction companies, pharmaceutical companies and retail operations. By utilizing TPR (Total Process Reliability), which uses elements from Six Sigma, Lean Methodologies as well as TPM, Chris assists clients in achieving their cost reduction and uptime improvement objectives. Being able to relate to, and work with people effectively, he helps teams succeed on their path to World Class. Chris comes from a mechanical and financial background that provides clients with an insight that will align them to be successful.Chris specializes in creating measurement, performance evaluation systems, process reliability, equipment reliability, setting up organization and leadership, Preventative Maintenance systems, and root cause analysis examinations. He has designed numerous PM programs for both operator care and mechanic/technician activities on stationary plant and facilities equipment as well as rolling stock and fleet. Chris has led efforts in directly assessing and creating solutions in inventory control that assisted in tracking and isolating losses, producing standardized procedures to monitor and control as well as reduce losses. These include a systems-based thinking to control and correctly access parts ordering and budget adherence and reduction. He helped to develop metrics and Key Performance Indicators as well as custom balanced scorecard systems to track performance and reliability measures. He attended Forsyth Technical College, majoring in Information Technology, and holds several certifications in network management. He also holds certification in Inventory Control Management from AMA.

Beth CarrollGraphic/Instructional DesignerWith over 17 years of design experience, Beth has a unique ability to communicate ideas and concepts visually, striving to make all materials graphically enticing. Beth graduated from N.C. State's award-winning and internationally-recognized College of Design (still called the School of Design while she was attending). Her professional experiences have included working for an ad agency, service bureau and graphic design firms. Her clients have included local businesses, as well as national corporations. A few of the organizations she has worked with include: Nextel, CP&L/Progress Energy, Special Olympics NC, Highwoods Properties, NCSU's Centennial Campus, Grubb & Ellis, Centex Homes and The Body Shop. Beth's designs have won local and regional awards. Her work was also chosen and featured in the national magazine, I.D., during an annual competition. Well-versed in all aspects of traditional print graphic design, Beth has expanded into instructional design as well as web design. Her design philosophy is simple... define the project specifics and then strive to achieve or exceed them.
Samantha GilleySupport CoordinatorMs. Gilley has over 10 years of experience in the Customer Service Industry. She previously worked for Truliant Federal Credit Union for over 8 years as a Titles and Imaging Specialist. Prior to coming to TBR Strategies, she worked for 18 months with The North Carolina License and Theft Bureau in the Safety/Emissions Contact Center where she was responsible for Customer Care Calls and development of Training Materials. She is a graduate of Carver High School and attended Western Carolina University as well as Forsyth Technical Community College. Samantha currently is responsible for: company travel, customer care and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Business Office.
