June 2008
TBR welcomes its newest team member, Holly Autry, who will be joining us on June 30th as Administrative Assistant. She has extensive experience in both accounting and administration, and has worked for The Steel Network, Inc., eCotton, Inc., and P&A Administrative Services, Inc. Holly is highly organized and multi-task oriented, and—as a mother of four girls—it’s no surprise!
Katie Ennis—now Katie Powers—will join TBR as Graphic/Instructional Designer on June 23rd. Katie was recently married and will join us after her honeymoon in Jamaica. She has interned with our company since February 2008 in graphic design, and has already learned so much. She received her Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design in Milwaukee before moving to Raleigh, NC early this year.
May 2008
We are pleased to announce that Enrique Mora has joined our team. Enrique has been a major supporter of TPM through his websites and other activities for many years as the host of the largest TPM community on the internet with over 2000 hits per day on his
TPMonLine website. He is also host to several other sites supporting Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen (continuous improvement). His Spanish background will help us in communicating to a growing part of our client’s growing work population. Up until recently, he was employed as a consultant by the State of California’s Manufacturing Technology Group.
We are pleased to announce that TBR Strategies has recently started a consulting engagement with
Key Energy, the largest rig-based drilling company in the world. Our experiences working with Western Drilling, recently acquired by Key, as well as our other oil and gas production companies were the considering elements in our selection.
March 2008
Kelly Surles joined us in late January 2008 as our Administrative Assistant. A native North Carolinian, she grew up in Fuquay-Varina and now lives in Pittsboro, graduating from Northwood High School in 2007. She has one younger sister and a lot of animals, so she stays pretty busy outside of TBR. One of her favorite quotes is that of Eddie Cantor (US comedian & singer): "Slow down and enjoy life. It’s not only the scenery you miss by going too fast—you also miss the sense of where you are going and why."
Kelly would like to thank Phyllis and Preston for taking a chance on her and all of TBR for welcoming her warmly. She has already learned so much and become an invaluable help in just these short couple of months.
February 2008
Katie Ennis joined TBR in
February 2008 as our Graphic Design Intern. After receiving her Associates
Degree in Graphic Design in Milwaukee, she moved to NC for a change of pace and
weather. Her fiancé, Blake, and equally loved dog, Mocha, made the trip with
her. Although they require most of her love and attention (the wedding date is
June 7, 2008!), Katie also finds time for hiking, backpacking, camping,
painting, drawing, photography and music-activities they can share together. An
outdoor-and-warm-weather-lover, she is adjusting well to life without snow, and
spends much of her non-TBR work life as a barista at a Raleigh Starbucks café.
Here at TBR, though, Katie is responsible for the design and upkeep of the newly
published TBR Monthly, as well as miscellaneous tasks needing completion in the
Graphic Design department.

rated
an overwhelming success by the participants.
Audrey Craver has transferred to our strategic partner, TTS, in Tampa, Florida. She will be on a one year assignment conducting process flow diagramming and instructional design services for TTS and its clients. Wish her well in her new assignment.
We would like to welcome our newest employees, Phyllis Turnage and Corie Lambdin. Phyllis is our Office Administrator and Corie is the new Graphic and Instructional Designer. Phyllis has joined us after running her own business for twelve years in Greenville, North Carolina and brings a wealth of experience to supporting office operations. Corie recently graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with degrees in Journalism and Studio Art.
Preston has been invited to speak at the Association for Equipment Management Professionals annual conference in March 2008. In addition, he will also be facilitating an expert panel on Life Cycle Cost.
Preston has been asked to write several case studies for Equipment World magazine which will be published early first quarter of 2008.
Sherry Gregoire has joined TBR as a senior consultant. She recently retired with thirty years of service with Shell and Aera Energy (merged Shell and Mobil operations) in Bakersfield, California. Sherry brings a wealth of experience in maintenance supervision, management and systems. In addition to years of experience in maintenance and operations, she served as the TPR Coordinator for Aera Energy for almost four years.
